Zenith works together with the laboratory, to help the mine factory to extract a major part of the residual gold contained in gold ore or some tailings.
1. The ore is ground into 75 microns particle size with passing rate is 80% (D80), the unrecovered gold are directed to the leaching plant and dissolved in an aerated sodium cyanide solution.
2. The solubilized gold is adsorbed onto coarse granules of activated carbon directly in the pulp in the so-called Carbon-In-Leach process (CIL).
3. The loaded carbon is treated at high temperature to elude the adsorbed gold into the solution once again.
4. The gold-rich elate is fed into an electro winning circuit. The loaded steel wool is pretreated by calcinations before it is mixed with fluxes and melted.
5. Finally, the melt is poured into a cascade of molds where gold is separated from the slag.
1. The CIL process utilizes safe and reliable technology and provides flxibility on raw materials analysis. It requires low inventory of precious metals.
2. In addition, it ensures short processing time and low operating costs
